OPEN-WALL

2016. Enamelled building bricks, aluminium.
Varying dimensions, Caen (France).

Open-wall is an ensemble of carved and enamelled red construction bricks. As it is a construction set, this piece can take many forms depending on the space available. It is modular so the wall can be assembled and disassembled. Thanks to the subtraction of matter and the addition of coloured enamel in the interior of the wall, this piece suggests the blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.
